Getting funds out of your SWAP Wallet

There are three ways to move funds out of your SWAP Wallet

1. Buy Airtime

Naturally, you can use your funds to purchase SWAP Instant Airtime – there’s no charge for making the purchase and you receive Airtime value for exactly the amount you spend.

2. Make a payment

Because SWAP is a fully-fledged payment system, you can pay a participating business for goods and services from your SWAP Wallet – there’s no charge for making the payment and it’s a quick, efficient, alternative to using cash, cards, cheques and internet transfers. Pay anywhere, anytime because SWAP is always with you.

3. Wallet-to-Wallet transfer

This option is available free of charge for transfers between any two SWAP Wallet holders. The holder of the donor Wallet dials *130*1313# and selects the Wallet-to-Wallet transfer option under My Wallet. The transfer value is available immediately in the receiving Wallet.

4. Bank my Wallet (Linked bank account required)

Bank my Wallet allows you to transfer funds from your SWAP Wallet to your registered bank account, subject to the minimum balance of R20 remaining in your Wallet.
