Once you’ve registered your SWAP Wallet, you’re ready to buy
SWAP Instant Airtime. Here’s how it’s done:
A reminder about SWAP protocol. SWAP uses USSD. This means
that you’ll be given menu choices or asked to enter information,
but the way you do it is a little different from what you’re probably used to. |

With USSD, you’ll need to:

First, decide on your response
Then press Answer or Reply on your keyboard
Then type in your response
Then press OK or Send |
|
|
|
|
|
- Make sure *130*1313# is saved to your cellphone contact list
- Dial *130*1313#
- Enter your PIN when prompted
(Answer/Reply – PIN – OK/Send)
- Enter 2 for “Buy Airtime”
(Answer/Reply – 2 – OK/Send)
- Select from Pay from Wallet or Pay from Credit/Cheque Card
You can pay from a credit card or cheque card only if you’ve
already linked one to your Wallet
(Answer/Reply – 1 or 2 – OK/Send)
- Select a network
Answer/Reply , enter 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 – depending on
which network you’re buying for, press OK/Send
- Choose a voucher value
Answer/Reply , enter the number corresponding to the value of the voucher you wish to purchase. Press OK/Send
(The available options may change from time
to time, depending on availability.)
- Confirm your transaction
You’ll see a summary screen telling
you what you’ve requested
If you have entered any information incorrectly:
Press Answer/Reply
Type # (End session) into the text entry field and dial *130*1313#
Once you ’ve confirmed your transaction, all you need to do is stand by. Your SWAP Instant Airtime voucher will be delivered directly to your cellphone. You can use it yourself or forward it to another cellphone. |
